So first thing I want to say is if you consider or want to buy LAsplash products and you're Canadian please please PLEASE remember to go to the Canadian website. Ordering from the American website will cause unnecessary charges!
Secondly a huge apology on my delayed post as well as hiatus from the blog. Life get's busy but it's starting to slow down and I will be posting more regularly!
These liquid lipsticks are hands down the best I have ever used like I mentioned on instagram. The formula goes on liquid to matte and it stays ALL.DAY.LONG. This stuff doesn't smudge or fade or crumble and I am so in love with it. I'm not sure about any of you guys but I personally can't stand a non matte/dry finish. My hair gets stuck in it and it's just a bad time, but with these liquid lipsticks I don't have to worry about that.
The price for these lipsticks is also pretty low considering in my opinion are a lot better than any other lipstick I've tried. Some run close to $ 30 and these lipsticks are only $15.99 Canadian! (the lip lustre is $17.99)
Studioshine Lip Lustre gloss in the shade Dutchess
Lip Couture waterproof liquid lipstick in the shade Till Midnight
Smitten Liptint mousse in the shade Hermes
Lip Couture waterproof liquid lipstick in the shade Rose Garden
Smitten Liptint mousse in the shade Spellbound
Lip Couture waterproof liquid lipstick in the shade Phantom
I have been religiously wearing Phantom like it's my natural lip colour lol! In my experience bright colours like purple or red don't always go on solid, you'll get streaks or drying clumps in it but this formula glides on smooth and dries perfect!
Over the course of August I collected a few items here and there but not enough for hauls each time (I'm trying to spend wisely).
Most of these items were bought during my vacation time. I went to Prince Edward Island for a small part of my vacation and the rest was spent in sporadic areas around Nova Scotia. Despite all of the traveling I didn't have much chance to get any type of souvenir, however I did manage to sneak into a few of my favorite stores on the way!
I wasn't planning on picking anything up at La Senza but it just so happened that they were having a spin wheel that day and I got a free pair of panties with a purchase. I chose to get two nice pairs instead of the ones they have for 3$ at times. The light one is a pastel purple with cute prints and strings on the side. The dark red has leopard print on the back. *socute*
I've been meaning to purchase a few new bras. To start this off, I went with a sports bra because I enjoy being comfortable and my work is physically demanding to wear wires and fancy bras. I bought this one as a test and will be back to buy more as these do the trick well! I also got a free wallet lanyard. One thing about Victoria Secret is that they almost always have giveaways with every purchase.
I bought this necklace locally. I don't really buy jewellery unless I am really drawn to it and so with this one I really liked the design. I need to find another chain because it keeps falling off and I've actually almost lost it a few times already!
Next, I made a small purchase at Wal-Mart during the back to school days. I bought a Biore charcoal facial cleansing pack and a few Garnier face masks. I'm not going back to school however I felt the need to purchase pencils! These aren't just any type of pencil but the 'plastic' kind. I'm not sure how else to describe it but all I know is that they are extremely hard to come by and my favorite! If I ever end up going back to school I will have pencils to go!
Now onto the essential part of this post. The only reason the toothbrush and paste are in here is because they're for sensitive teeth. I love soft bristles on my teeth or else I find that it's just too rough for me, this kind is just super massaging and feels right, effective and efficient! The toothpaste is because sometimes I just have sensitive teeth. I also purchased a teeth whitener! Maybe you will see a review up on this at some point!
Here we go again with the hair stuff. I just need to not go through the hair aisle anymore. Actually, I went to get just hair conditioner because I tend to go through that triple time I do my shampoo. I find myself going towards L'oreal for a lot of my hair essentials. I bought the L'oreal moisture infusion mask only because colder seasons are coming and I'm hoping this will keep moisture locked in and help with soon coming dandruff! The Live Clean Exotic Nectar Argan Oil because the packaging attracted me. Yep, gotta kick that habit.
I wasn't actually going to put this in here but I seen that it's scented? I've never seen that before!
That's it guys! There wasn't much but I wanted to start digging into my goodies before too long. I'll start reviews on a few things here shortly as well!
I was really excited to see that Too Cool For School had a version of the Beauty Blender that everyone was on the rave about. Not only just that, it was super cheap! At under 4$ I wasn't going to pass this up since I was doing a Too Cool For School haul as it was. This gave me the chance to get the experience of a beauty blender for a fraction of the price I would have paid on THE beauty blender.
Since I don't have any other type of beauty sponge I can't really compare it to anything so I'm just going to give my thoughts on this one only.
The sponge itself had a bit of a squish to it but not so much that you could touch your fingers on each end, vertically and horizontally. The bottom part will be for the base foundation whereas the tip will be for the creases and corners ie. your nose. The sponge actually didn't absorb as much foundation as I thought it would.
I bought this to use with my Kat Von D foundation because I thought it would have a better finish if I used a beauty tool instead of my fingers. It turns out that my foundation seemed to come out a bit more caked than normal.
I put the foundation on my blender for application. It felt like I was putting more pressure than I normally would with my normal routine. It seemed that in order to to speed up the process, you would have to rub it in with your blender or fingers to get your foundation more spread evenly which is what I would do any other time.

Final thoughts
I think the Marshmallow puff or any other type of beauty blender is good to use for a first time to get the experience but I don't recommend spending a whole lot of money on it. There are tons of companies that sell cheap versions of the beauty blender so don't feel restricted to just using this particular one!
It may seem like a lot of products but I like to think of my routine in three 'layers' like a book, beginning, middle and end.
I don't use any primers because I feel that it isn't really necessary. First thing I put on is a foundation stick. I am in love with A'pieu smart speeder stick however I am also not too picky with what I use because it's my first layer and in the end you won't be able to notice it. A great thing about this stick is it's got an SPF30. Nothing beats having sunscreen in your foundation.
I'm actually almost finished this stick and will be buying another one shortly.
This is my middle layer. I will actually go one of two ways with my mid section.
This is one way and my most recent. Not only is the Kat Von D lock-it tattoo foundation great for coverage it also has a matte finish so if you were in a rush this is all you would need!
My next option are these two combined. Welcos Killing Me Zombie CC cream will go on first then I will use Etude House precious mineral cushion foundation on top to add for extra coverage. Fun fact you can get a container for the Etude House foundation but I opted out because it is fine the way it is.
Both of these apply seamlessly and are a very light foundation so it feels like there's nothing on your face.
This will be my final stage of foundation application. To make everything matte I put a powder on top. Again, not picky with what powder I use as long as it matches my skintone.
Under my eyes I will sometimes put this powder on to help eliminate wrinkles.
And ta-da! foundation complete!
As far as brushes go, I mostly use my hands to blend everything in except for the finishing powder I will use a brush. It's just a personal preference that I have. I did however just get my Too Cool For School Marshmallow puff which I will more than likely start using for my Kat Von D foundation to get a possibly better finish.
For those of you who did not know, Inglot is a cosmetics company based overseas in Poland. It has stretched to over 57 countries and an astounding number of 450 boutiques! Not only supplying every possible color you could imagine but the best quality a person could ask for!
A little bit ago I was searching as to whether it was cruelty free or not and couldn't find anything on it! So I went ahead and assumed that just like most brands, it wasn't. Up until recently I seen a facebook post by Inglot USA-now I know this still isn't a 100% reputable source-that they are indeed cruelty free. You can view the post here.
Inglot doesn't name their products, instead they use numbers. Which is fine, all that does is knock off their creativity level but they make up for it with the abundance of colors. Now let's dive right into the interview.
Although this color may look a little pink in the tube do not let it fool you! This is the lighter version of 256 at the number 254. Don't believe me? Here I'll show you them together!

This is number 143. It is a nice bright florescent pink with what looks to be a blue undertone. Perfect for the summer and spring time. I like this color a lot as it does make a statement but also is a nice girly pink as well. As you can tell from the swatch the color payoff is brilliant. It is quite opaque and full of pigmentation. This, is Inglot.
Apologizing for the blurry pictures on this color. This number is 194. This would be what you call your standard barbie pink. Like bubblegum. Again, not only do you have excellent pigmentation, these lipsticks apply very evenly and smooth to the touch. Great color choice for spring and summer!
This is number 256. It's a soft near pastel I like to call it a pinky purple. If you are just getting into wearing funky cool colors I suggest picking up one of these bad boys. It's so soft that not many people will notice it. Also you would be comfortable wearing this outside without the feeling of anybody staring you down.
256 on the left and 254 on the right. There is indeed a very subtle difference! Can you tell I like my purples? haha! :)
Here we have number 106. It is more of a pastel peachy color. When this got ordered I was thinking of going more outside my comfort zone as I do have a lot of pink and purple shades. I do like this color because it isn't all out there and I enjoy pastels. This color is good for the spring and summer and possibly into the fall. I think it's cute anyway, hopefully I will warm up to it a bit more next year.

Lastly we have number 100. Same situation as number 106. This color is an extremely pigmented bright orange! Good for occasions such as Halloween say if you're going to dress up as a pumpkin... This one will probably develop cobwebs in my collection. It is certainly a gorgeous color, just not for me.
Inglot has boutiques in various large cities around Canada as well as the state and multiple other countries overseas. As far as I know you can also purchase Inglot at select Sephora locations as well. Otherwise, you're going to be ordering online and going by what the color on the screen shows. This is definitely worth the purchase, most of the colors show next to true on their website. This brand is comparable to Mac if not better. #sorrynotsorry. If you have a chance to get your hands on anything by this company do not hesitate, DO IT! I hope this post helped you, if you have any questions feel free to ask and we will try our best to answer them!
A WHOLE FRIGGING LOT!
Here, I'll show you!
Let's start with what is outside of my bag. This is the powder I put on after my liquid foundation to finish my base face. I only use the bottom 2 because the top 2 have a shimmer to them-not really useful for anything.
This extremely used inglot palette. I love smokey eyes! Blush palette, and a colorful palette for when I want to get creative.
Apparently I rarely clean my bag out.. My old foundation routine.
New foundation routine. Etude House cushion. Sweet Leilani foundation stick. For the possibly unknown products.
Tarte Bronzer and Inglot translucent powder for after your foundation.
Divergent shadows, blush, bronzer and highlighter.
The first 2 shadows are just sparkles that go on when you're finished your shadows.
Colorevolution pigments and Infallible shadows. I use Colorevolution sometimes when I want super shiny lids. If you're looking for cheap drug store good quality shadows, don't go anywhere. Infallible is great for you!
Random shadows and stuff... that should probably be taken out. Benefits litt up(or something), Urban Decay primer, and an eyelash clear gel of some sort.
Everything eyelash?! So apparently I like sample sizes.. The first one is an empty, I still have it because it was so good that eventually I am going to repurchase-just can't forget what one it was! The second one is also an empty(ish) I use it because the wand really makes the curl, a curl! Next 2 are Benefit's Bad Gal and They're Real! Work like a charm, I prefer They're Real. Next three are more recent ones I've purchased and I use them collaboratively. Next is and I'm not sure why it's in this picture my eyelid primer. The next 2 mascaras don't really get much use. One is an Asian brand called Canbah and the other one is Mac and it stinks! Ew!
More random stuff.. Oh look another Urban Decay primer fancy that..
First 2 are eyeliners, one being a felt tip the other is a roll up. Both not considered to be new but they just hang around because of how much I actually use eyeliner. Last one is an eyebrow pencil by Inglot and is a newer product. Unfortunately I have already replaced this fellow with another pencil. We will see how long it lasts. I don't like pencils that you have to sharpen which is what the new one is.
Lip glosses and a random lipstick I forgot to put with my others. It's a pretty color anyhow.
This little fellow is Tony Moly Circle Lense Mascara. Nothing special about it just forgot to put it in with my mascara picture. (oops)
WELL THERE YOU HAVE IT. NOW YOU KNOW.
Half of this I don't even use but we won't tell anybody. shh
