Welcome to our website !
Wow!  I've procrastinated so long and now it's almost Christmas!
I have a few bath bombs that I was hoping to get reviewed for you guys by Christmas, but now it's looking like it might be New Years.
Let's jump right in on this Bath Bomb!
Yog Nog

Originally, I was drawn to this bomb because it smelled so sweet and exactly like EggNog.  I absolutely could not get enough of it!

Another thing that had caught me eye was the fantastic art work.  I tried to get enough pictures throughout the whole bomb to show all of the work.  From what I can remember, there are carrots, stars, trees, ornaments and gingerbread people all over the bomb.

The melting process for Yog Nog was extremely slow.  Inside the bomb was something that looked like an egg which floated around the tub melting over the entire duration of my bath.  As far as the smell goes for this bomb, it wasn't completely subtle yet not strong either.  This is the perfect bomb for anyone who is just looking to get relaxed and smooth all over.  I could tell the shea butter in this bomb was strong as it was so moisturizing to my skin even way after I got out of the tub.

Pros
  • Sweet smell, like eggnog
  • multiple usages
  • moisturizing
  • lingering smell
 Cons
  • Not memorable
  • 'boring' reveal-slow

As far as a memorable bomb, I can't say there was a whole lot that was extravagant to it.  The water was a yellow shade with very subtle sparkles throughout the tub. You could more than likely get 2 usages out of this bomb quite easily.  With saying all of that, I would more than likely repurchase as it is so moisturizing and smells like my favorite Christmas drink.
If you're looking for a relaxing night yet staying in the Halloween spirit, look no further!  Lord of Misrule is the perfect guy for this kind of feeling.

Lord of Misrule is a green ball with a zig zag design. I'm kind of sad that Lush only has one bath bomb for the fall season.  Very little in the collection this year.  With that being said, let's get onto the bath bomb!
Once the bomb was placed into the water, it started foaming right away into the shell where it was a hot pink color.

The pink and the green combined is turning into a deep red!!!

I really liked how this transition worked.  Combining the red and green looks really cool.  It took about 5 minutes for the entire transition to take place and then you just had the shell which could be cracked up into the water.  After it was all finished, there were pop rocks popping around the tub!  This is a really cool and unexpected added effect.

This is basically the end result.  It's a perfect blood bath for a vampire!

As far as the smell goes, it is supposed to have hints of Patchouli, which I didn't really smell or it was very subtle.   The main point to this bomb in my opinion is the effect and color, it also sets a sort of tone.

Pros:
  • Pop rocket effect
  • Blood red water
  • Cost efficient
  • Relaxing
  • Skin smoothing and Softening
Cons:
  • Seasonal item
  • Not much smell
It's definitely worth the investment to pick up a few of these bombs to have them throughout the year so if you feel yourself going for Lord of Misrule, get your red wine and set away to a land of magic with this bomb!
