I was attracted to this particular mask because I've never used a hydrogel mask before and the picture looked so weird.  TonyMoly has yet to let me down but I wasn't sure what to expect from this one.  Let's hop right into the review.

The packaging was bigger than my face, it's massive!! 

If it weren't for the pictures, I would have no idea how to use this mask. Even though it's applied just like your standard sheet mask, it does suggest you leave it on for 20-40 minutes which is longer than the suggested time on your regular sheet mask.

So on the back it tells you what the mask is supposed to do for your skin, the ingredients as well as the directions.  It's supposed to make your skin look clear and transparent.  I'm not sure how the transparent part works, maybe they mean clean?  Silly Koreans.

I wasn't sure what to expect mask wise and didn't know whether it was going to be what the picture on front showed.  Turned out that it actually was.  Hello creature from Saw.

Even though you just apply this like any other standard sheet mask, because it is more gel based than others I found this to be more flimsy and sticky than any other sheet mask.  This should be put on in a room with no fan blowing or any type of wind blowing your way.  When it's on I would also suggest laying down as it is heavy for a sheet mask and will keep it in place longer instead of standing up or walking around would.So after about half an hour I decided to take it off and rinse.  I didn't notice any immediate results but after I freshened up I did notice my skin to be lighter and have less blemishes.

For my first time trying a hydrogel mask I can't say I was seriously impressed nor was I disappointed.  Once I can get the hang of using them and get the full effect I'm sure I'll grow to love them more and more. I bought mine at roseroseshop for a fairly decent price.  You can probably get this on amazon, ebay or the actual tonymoly website.

Hi there PYMUO followers! How is everyone doing today?

Today I will be going over my every day skin care routine. It's super easy. It only has two products and two steps. This is excluding SPF which I highly recommend after you wash your face in the morning! But as we all know, that's beauty care 101 so I don't feel like I should mention it.

The very first product I use is coconut oil. Coconut oil is great for many things such as...

• cracked and dry lips
• softening the skin
• cracked and dry feet
• skins disorders such as psoriasis, acne, and eczema
• treating minor infections

It is also an AMAZING make up remover! Even with extremely dark makeup I don't have to stand in front of the mirror for very long because it is SO effective and cheap (it even takes off your hard to remove mascara!!!).

The second product I use is tea tree oil. Tea tree oil has anti-fungal properties and helps with...

• acne, dark spots, and blemishes
• fungal and bacterial infections 
• minor cuts, wounds, warts, ringworm, insect bites, rashes
• dandruff
• healing piercings
• soothing nickel allergies and other allergic reactions
• cure for dry skin when mixed with a moisturizer

Be careful not to put it around your eye area as it can be a little overwhelming, and never put tea tree oil by itself on your face unless you are tackling a zit or a pimple.

Also, please do not use a lot of coconut oil. Using excessive amounts of coconut oil will make you break out. What I do is gently swipe my finger into the oil, because I found putting too much will suffocate the skin and we don't want excess oil.


STEP ONE

Apply a dime size amount of coconut oil onto the palm of your hand and rub it into your palm. Rub your hands for one second under warm water, then apply to the face. I like to take my time getting every area of my skin, and even my neck. When you put the coconut oil on it will feel like a slippery film is on your face. This is normal.

STEP TWO

Now rinse your face with warm water. I don't rinse as much as I would with a cleanser, as I want some coconut oil to remain on my face.
Pat your face dry. Put one drop of tea tree oil on your palm and rub together. Pat on the face.

And you are done! That is my skin care routine.
After only a week I noticed a huge difference in the way my face looks after using coconut and tea tree oil. These are the things that I notice most:

• super soft skin
• redness in the cheeks are gone
• no breakouts 
• i look less tired
• acne scars slowly fading away
• skin lightening

Play around with the amount of oils needed for your face. Each and every one of us has different skin. I highly recommend this skin care regime, and you can use it on your back, or anywhere else on your body if you have acne! You can also leave out the tea tree oil and just use coconut oil to moisturize your hands, elbows, feet and even really dry hair. Don't be afraid to experiment with coconut oil!

Hi guys! I'm going to start posting more reviews and thought posts on Kbeauty again so I can get the products from the Roseroseshop hauls back in spring reviewed up. Today I'm going to be reviewing Etude House's Scrub Massage Oil Gel in the Sunshine Spoon collection.  That was a mouthful.

Each packet has 2 usages in them. I decided to review the oil gel from the collection first because it's coconut as well as a gel which I didn't know what to expect.  Before I had even opened it, I thought this would be really oily kind of like a liquid and not adhere to my face at all.

Turns out, this is more of a gel-like substance that goes on nicely with a subtle hint of coconut.  There are also capsules in the gel which are supposed to provide vitamins for your skin.

I suppose this gel pack could be used as a mask or used just as a facial cleanser.  I decided to use this as a mask and keep it on for about half an hour.  I do find this to be fairly oily, try not to touch your face too much or you will get oil everywhere!

Overall I really enjoyed this mask.  My personal results were fairly decent.  I noticed more color in my skin, it looked brighter.  The oil didn't give me any breakouts either!

Because it is so oily, if you have naturally oily skin I would use this just as a cleanser so it's not on your face for a long period of time. Over all, I wouldn't recommend this to people who already have oily skin,.  I love how the coconut is very subtle and it is also skin sensitive.  The best time to wear this mask would more than likely be in the colder weather when your skin is extremely dry and peeling (gross!).  What this mask really did for me was revive my skin and put a lot of moisture in.  After it was rinsed off, my face wasn't oily at all.

I'm excited to test and review the rest of the Sunshine Spoon collection!

 I can't remember the exact price so for around 35$ at The Bay you can get a full size Purity and 15ml of Hope in a Jar.  I got this as a Christmas present and just haven't had the time to try and do a review on it! 

It comes in a nice box with pictures and information on how these products are used which is pretty convenient for me as I probably neglect facial care more than I should therefore don't really know how things are applied or in which order. 

Both products came with a safety seal to keep the product sanitary and prolong its life span.  Also if you happen to purchase it new and the seal is broken then you know for sure that it should be returned just for security reasons.

 

Philosophy: Where there is hope there can be faith.

Hope in a Jar acts as a moisturizer for every skin type.  It's a white color with a creamy texture and smells very fresh.  This seems really greasy to me for some reason.  I used this after using Purity, all you do is either use a makeup scrub or your hands and rub it in any motion you want-I use circular-all over your face until it has rubbed through and in your skin.   This seems to soak in nicely, however on a personal preference I don't like having chemicals or anything on my face that I think could possibly break me out, so I washed it off with water shortly after.  One thing that should not be done that I did is put it around your eyes. it will sting a LOT!  Highly do not recommend that.   The following day, from the short length I had this one, I didn't break out so that's a bonus.  Can't really compare this to any other moisturizers as I don't use any other ones but from how this one works I'd say it's pretty good.

I apply the Purity just with these disposable makeup remover pads which you can get at any local drug store or even the dollar store.

Purity is a 3-in-1 cleanser for the face and eyes.  When you go to smell it, there is a rush of some sort of chemical, however it is more sensitive for the eyes.  I used this with a makeup sponge and applied it to the face to remove my makeup.  Again, I don't use very many makeup removers but I do know when it is quality or not.  Let me just say, within a few swipes all of my makeup is removed!  This stuff is really good.  This can be used for all skin types as well.  For it being a full sized-240ml- product, this will probably last me all year.   It can also come in a gel form but I do find that this bottle is the better quality even though it's the exact same product (don't ask how that one works!)

Overall, this is a great product and I needed a makeup remover so I couldn't have asked for anything better.  And can we just take a moment to embrace the philosophy quote on the bottle.
