I was attracted to this particular mask because I've never used a hydrogel mask before and the picture looked so weird.  TonyMoly has yet to let me down but I wasn't sure what to expect from this one.  Let's hop right into the review.

The packaging was bigger than my face, it's massive!! 

If it weren't for the pictures, I would have no idea how to use this mask. Even though it's applied just like your standard sheet mask, it does suggest you leave it on for 20-40 minutes which is longer than the suggested time on your regular sheet mask.

So on the back it tells you what the mask is supposed to do for your skin, the ingredients as well as the directions.  It's supposed to make your skin look clear and transparent.  I'm not sure how the transparent part works, maybe they mean clean?  Silly Koreans.

I wasn't sure what to expect mask wise and didn't know whether it was going to be what the picture on front showed.  Turned out that it actually was.  Hello creature from Saw.

Even though you just apply this like any other standard sheet mask, because it is more gel based than others I found this to be more flimsy and sticky than any other sheet mask.  This should be put on in a room with no fan blowing or any type of wind blowing your way.  When it's on I would also suggest laying down as it is heavy for a sheet mask and will keep it in place longer instead of standing up or walking around would.So after about half an hour I decided to take it off and rinse.  I didn't notice any immediate results but after I freshened up I did notice my skin to be lighter and have less blemishes.

For my first time trying a hydrogel mask I can't say I was seriously impressed nor was I disappointed.  Once I can get the hang of using them and get the full effect I'm sure I'll grow to love them more and more. Hey guys!  Today I will be sharing my thoughts on the second Scrub Massage pack from Etude House in the option of Soy Bean.  You can view my first review from this line here, the Coconut Oil gel formula.

 The main goal with the Soy Bean is to make sure that the skin has been firmed.   With this being said, it feels like more of a moisturizing cream as it is so creamy and smooth.

This particular Spoon Scrub is a cream-like texture.  It smells quite sweet and goes on like a moisturizer.  At first I didn't think there was enough product in one packet for my entire face but Etude House came through in the end. So after applying it in circular motion with one finger, evenly throughout, I just waited 20-30minutes and then hopped in the shower to rinse it off.  I opted to rub in the rest of the cream before rinsing just to absorb more of the product.

As I was rinsing, I noticed that it had left a protective layer over my skin.  It didn't feel bad or anything, just different.  Even though the cream was so moisturizing it actually did firm my face quite a bit.

I can't find anything substantially wrong with this product.  For 3 packs of these which would be 6 applications it is around 3$ which isn't overly expensive nor is it cheap, which is why I put that it should have the choice to purchase in a container or a 'sample size' like these.  Otherwise, this is a great product if you're looking to mix up your facial care.

Hi guys! I'm going to start posting more reviews and thought posts on Kbeauty again so I can get the products from the Roseroseshop hauls back in spring reviewed up. Today I'm going to be reviewing Etude House's Scrub Massage Oil Gel in the Sunshine Spoon collection.  That was a mouthful.

Each packet has 2 usages in them. I decided to review the oil gel from the collection first because it's coconut as well as a gel which I didn't know what to expect.  Before I had even opened it, I thought this would be really oily kind of like a liquid and not adhere to my face at all.

Turns out, this is more of a gel-like substance that goes on nicely with a subtle hint of coconut.  There are also capsules in the gel which are supposed to provide vitamins for your skin.

I suppose this gel pack could be used as a mask or used just as a facial cleanser.  I decided to use this as a mask and keep it on for about half an hour.  I do find this to be fairly oily, try not to touch your face too much or you will get oil everywhere!

Overall I really enjoyed this mask.  My personal results were fairly decent.  I noticed more color in my skin, it looked brighter.  The oil didn't give me any breakouts either!

Because it is so oily, if you have naturally oily skin I would use this just as a cleanser so it's not on your face for a long period of time. Over all, I wouldn't recommend this to people who already have oily skin,.  I love how the coconut is very subtle and it is also skin sensitive.  The best time to wear this mask would more than likely be in the colder weather when your skin is extremely dry and peeling (gross!).  What this mask really did for me was revive my skin and put a lot of moisture in.  After it was rinsed off, my face wasn't oily at all.

I'm excited to test and review the rest of the Sunshine Spoon collection!

I have yet to try very many Skinfood products so I was drawn to this for that reason in particular. 

The packaging is actually pretty chi, it comes in a paper liner with a little card on an elastic to hold it all together for great presentation.  A+ Skinfood.

Inside the card it explains what the purpose of the mask is for, the 'Olive story' and your application.

Purpose: "A mask that seals tightly on skin to eliminate dryness and white flakes. (contains spanish olive oil)"
Olive Story: "Olive oil from sunny Spain is enriched with unsaturated fatty acids."
Application: "Apply an ample amount onto the face and massage gently, focusing on areas where more dead skin cells have piled up.  Rinse off with lukewarm water."

So past the paper packaging it is also sealed with plastic to prevent customers from getting into new product.  The container is glass so it will be great to keep around for holding desk essentials in or your bobby pins and hair elastics.  Yet again, another A+ Skinfood!

The mask itself is a light pastel green with small particles dispersed.  This isn't a thin mask that it's melting off your face but it also doesn't dry on your face like a clay or peel off one would.

Thoughts

 From my experience, I found this mask to be quite oily during application but after I washed off the oil went away.  The only effect I noticed was that it made my skin have more moisture. I would recommend using this mask particularly in the winter when it's really dry and cold to reinforce moisture.  Because it's such a light mask, you could use this a few times a week which is what I am trying to do to finish up the container.  The smell isn't the greatest but tolerable because it's so subtle. Going back to the packaging one more time, I really liked that it was in a glass jar instead of just a plastic container, it really adds to the presentation which I don't think a lot of companies think about.

  

Overall;

I recommend this to people that have dry(er) skin as well as anyone who has skin troubles during the colder seasons. 

Before we get onto the review, let's just appreciate how cute this is lol, and it's a spoon ok!  Seriously fangirling over Korean packaging right now!

Again, not too sure what it's saying on the back part of the packaging.  Luckily there are images that are pretty easy to read on how to use this overnight cream!

On the back of the spoon there's an indent right at the end of the handle which gets cracked and the  wrapping comes off to reveal the product.  There's a colored cream and a liquid cream that gets stirred together to create a creamy yellow color.

You can mix this together using just about anything, but it shows mixing with the end of the spoon!  how crafty of you Etude House.

There are a ton of different scents and varieties on what it will do for your skin in this line.  This specific one is in Evening Primrose.  It contains evening primrose, lavender, chamomile as well as mint which will then in turn have moisturizing and smoothing effects for your skin and complexion.

I left it on overnight and could only get comfortable sleeping on my back because it was still sticky by the time I was ready to sleep 2-3 hours later.  The next Moonlight in Spoon I'll only wear it for a few hours and then wash before sleep.  I only thought that you keep it on overnight because it says overnight cream on the name itself.   The smell was pretty florally and was actually really good so that alone could persuade me to repurchase.  As for the end results, I didn't notice a whole lot of difference except that my face was fairly moisturized.  I did notice a very slight breakout on my cheek which brings it back to not leaving it on for so long.  The breakout is so subtle that it will be gone in a few days, however this should be bringing my skin forward, not backwards.

I couldn't think of very many cons that were cons but just pointers on how to make it last longer and have the best possible effect.  Would it be weird to say that I want to keep the packaging and hang it up on my wall!! eek, so super adorable hehe.

This cream pack was actually one of the many products that I was most looking forward to.  I picked quite a few full sized items from my roseroseshop hauls that I became very fast excited about quite a few of them.

I was attracted to this originally because the packaging was really cool and Too Cool For School was one brand that I really wanted to try out.

This mask is designed to remove dead cells, cleanse pores and remove corneous tissue without skin irritation.  Containing manuka honey for benefits of water and for nutrition deep in the skin.   Also containing chamomile to keep sensitive skin calm.

Honestly, I was pretty surprised because I thought this was a cream, not a full on clay mask for obvious reasons(it says cream right in the name).   There's not an overpowering smell but at the same time it doesn't really smell that ~great~, I'm trying to like it but can't quite put my finger on what it actually smells like.  I'm just thankful that it doesn't have a strong smell.

It's an off white with specks in it and a pretty thick clay.  It went on smoothly and dried pretty fast.  A little goes a long way, I didn't need a very thick layer.

The application process is really simple, all you do is put a thin layer on your face and wait 5-10 minutes then wash off with water. ta-da, simple!

I waited probably closer to 10-15 minutes but it doesn't really matter how long you keep it on, you could do some laundry or dishes in the meantime. 

This mask is supposed to eliminate pores which is exactly what it did.  My skin felt kind of dry afterwards so you will need some sort of moisturizer to go with it.  I still had red spots on my skin from rosacea, but I'm finding that very few masks will help with that.  Apart from those two, the mask was well worth the money and had fantastic results, I couldn't stop touching my face because it was so soft!

So I thought I would start posting reviews for products I got in my sephora order yesterday as I start to use them. The first Product that I used out of my haul was the Clinique pore refining solutions mask. Now I mentioned this in my haul post but I feel like I should mention it again- I ordered a clinique "Mini's" set of masks that I paid $11 for and was given a one time use of each, really not worth the money to buy the samples, I kind of felt deceived by them being called mini's. Definitely thought they would be mini bottles, not mini samples.

First thing I wanna say about this product is that it's almost scentless which is really nice! I find when I use scented moisturizers or masks that my skin gets irritated. The formula for this mask is really lightweight and goes on nice and smooth! I left it on my face for about 10 minutes and waited for it to harden before washing it off. As I was washing it off of my face I immediately felt a difference in my skin! My once large craters also known as pores were almost completely invisible! My face felt so baby soft and still does! I am so beyond thrilled with this product that I will definitely be ordering the full size product as soon as possible!

Okaaay maybe not but what I do have are a few products of the most amazing scent ever, can you guess what that is??? no?? What's that, you want me to tell you? Well don't mind if I do, it's COCONUT!!!! Bet you couldn't figure that one out on your own now could ya!

Okay, let's get into it.

Going into Victoria's Secret I had actually no intentions on buying anything but the second I got a whiff of this body lotion, I had to have it!  This is more of an artificial sweeter coconut smell that lingers for a while after having it on.  Not only do I absolutely love the smell, it will soak right up into your  skin without leaving it greasy.  There's nothing more that I hate from a body lotion that leaves my skin greasy.  It's good for dry skin as it's extremely hydrating and moisturizing as well. This retails at $15CAD, which is an affordable price but could easily go for $10.  I'll give this product a 4.5/5 because there really is nothing wrong with it apart from being just slightly overpriced. 

I ordered this face mask from Roseroseshop back in the fall.  I've only used it a handful of times but out of those times I'm impressed with the way it had worked.  It comes with a sanitizer stick to keep product as free of bacteria as possible.  It has a liquid-like texture that just a small layer will rub onto your skin and it will be enough for one usage.  This has real coconut in with the face mask and I find it smells more true to coconut as well. There is a packaging error in this and I find that it is where the downfall lies.  Because it has a seal lock, you can't get any air in it and the product gets stuck in between the seal and the actual container, making it really difficult to get the seal in and the lid on top of that!  Overall I give this product a 3.5/5.  I wish I could give it more but other than the smell, which does linger throughout the day as well.. doesn't really do anything too fancy for me. 

I just recently found this treatment and hadn't completely finished my post so it's going on here!

You have the option to heat your oil treatment in the microwave or in boiling water.  I chose the microwave option to save time.  Initially I put it in for 20seconds but opted to do an extra 10 as it wasn't as warm as I'd like.  After being completely liquidified, I soaked my dry hair with it completely.  It is suggested to keep the treatment in for a minimum of 45 minutes but for best results to leave it in overnight.  I opted to keep it in overnight, obviously.  In the morning rinsed it off, using only conditioner.  This was my first mistake and it didn't come out all the way.  I say that was a mistake but in the longer run it wasn't because the oils were still working even after the fact.  So 3 days later, I finally had time to get all of the oils out.
Out of all 3 of these, this treatment had the most realistic smell of coconut.  It was really sweet and smelled so strong and I just wanted to have a pina colada.  However, the smell didn't last very long and was nearly completely gone by the first morning.
One package did my entire head fairly thoroughly so it will go a long way.  If you have short hair you could somehow store the oil somewhere and use it two or three times!
The end results were amazing, my hair was so shiny, and felt really really healthy.  I loved this oil treatment and will probably continue using it.

As I'm opening the package, the essence has a cream look to it which is different opposed to any other face mask.  The smell of this mask wasn't strong at all, in fact at first I didn't really smell any Mango but on an after note there was just the tiniest scent of Mango.
This mask is designed to make your skin look firm and healthy with its variety of vitamins and fibers.
The application process actually seemed to be kind of easier due to the cream looking essence and also it seems to be a little bit thicker than your normal liquid-like essence.  I'm not getting any drip and it seems to be staying quite well and absorbing nicely onto the application spot.
The results of this mask are quite standard from other masks.  Nothing too special, it smooths my face a bit as well as being quite a bit more firmer.

Can we just start off with, yes I was sold by the packaging of course. And you know what,  even though the main selling point with Asian beauty products is the packaging, most of them are actually worth it.

And uh oh did I speak too soon? As I'm opening the package, the first thing I really wanted to see was the smell of it and I'll tell you it didn't smell anything of strawberries but more so vodka. Also not to mention the essence was a little bit weird looking as well.

WELL THIS IS DIFFERENT. Lets just say it looks like you know what and call it a day.

 The application process was alright.  My essence seems to be dripping off a little bit though.
Even throughout the wait period there is still essence dripping down off the mask.
Well the only thing I can say more is that the purpose is supposed to make my skin feel soft and moist.  Let's see if thats what it does.

My results seem to be alright, compared to what the actual product was like anyway. It seemed to make my skin pretty moist and soft around my cheek area and forehead. Also it made my cheeks a little less harsh of a red.  That's pretty much all this mask had to offer me.  Maybe I just got a doozy, who knows.
