Welcome to our website !
I couldn't have picked a better time to start with Fabfitfun! Let's get started unboxing!

The box itself is fairly big, I would say is around a foot and a half in length.
With perforations on the side makes it very easy to open.
Aaaand then it falls over.  Okay, here we go!

First thing I see is an umbrella.  This might be more fitting in the spring, however I currently do not own one so it fits pretty fine right now, and I'm due for some rain over the next few days anyway.  I love the orange color too!

The next thing I picked was this Tribe Alive bracelet.  At first glance I didn't think much of it, like oh it's cute I guess.  I'm not really a jewelry person unless it's super meaningful for me.  Impoverished women from Honduras are hired in a safe workplace with a sustainable income to hand-craft each bracelet.  Because of this, they are able to provide for their families.  Fabfitfun is affiliated with Tribe Alive for that purpose.

Oh, you mean to tell me that today when my phone died I had a portable power bank at the post office waiting for me? oh, okay.  This will certainly come in handy in the future!  You know just what I need Fabfitfun.
There was also a 25% off code for the HISY company included.

So, as we all probably know by now,  I love face masks!  I mainly use korean beauty masks so I haven't heard of this brand before.  My first thoughts was it was quite heavy.  This looks like I will have a lot of fun using it!

There is a 3-in-1 primer, gloss and stain.  I'm super excited to try this out! I love the color as well, it is a neutral shade perfect for fall!

Next up we have a moisturizer that will be great for under your makeup as well as just as it is to smooth out and correct uneven skin tone.  I don't really use moisturizers but I can always start with this!

I received the Merrithew resistance band for regular strength with a supporting DVD.  This is perfect for your every day workout!
This also came with a coupon for Merrithew.

Because it is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Fabfitfun has teamed up with the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse who have generously included a purple purse charm in every fabfitfun box!  I don't carry around a bag with me, nor do I carry around even a lanyard but have a few at hand so I'll be putting this on one of my lanyards and start carrying that around now that I have a lock and key to my work locker!

I got a 15$ gift card voucher for Alex and Ani.  I might take a look at the website and see what's on there if anything interests me.

This is a 75$ voucher for Picture it on Canvas.  This alone should be a game changer on whether or not you were going to purchase Fabfitfun.  This voucher is worth more than what I paid for the box in total.

Let's talk dollars

  • FabFitFun x Tappan Collective Umbrella $32
  • Gold Radiance Luxury Facial Mask with Collagen and Rose Oil by Passport to Beauty $65
  • Lucky Lip Stain by Manna Kadar Cosmetics $24
  • Flawless Skin Fluid by Doctor D. Schwab $39
  • HISY Battery Pack $24.99
  • Strength Tubing Ankle &  Total Body Tone with Tubing: Lower Body & Core DVD by Merrithew $33
  • Glass Crystal Bead Bracelet by Tribe Alive $49
  •   Gift Card by Jeweler's Wife $15
  • Gift Card by Picture It On Canvas $7
At a 356.99$ value, I would say that is the best box that I have yet to receive, ever.  This is the price excluding the Allstate Foundation purple keychain which was made in what I would say real nice material and would personally price at around $20-30.  There is still time to purchase your fall box, but hurry because they are selling out, and fast!  Even if you live in Canada this is a steal, price wise!  It was just under 2 weeks excluding weekends and our Thanksgiving holiday from the time I bought it to the time it arrived at my door.  Super shipping on top just makes the cherry on the cake.  It may seem like a lot of money to fork out on a box at 50$, but it is such a great deal that it's hard to pass up.  Not to mention there are coupons you can use on top
I hope this helped you guys in making a decision to purchase the Fabfitfun box. I think the main thing that I liked the most about this box was the Paint it on Canvas voucher.  I haven't decided what I'm going to get done with it but I will share it with you guys once I make my decision for sure! I'm definitely excited to try my new goodies and maybe do some reviews!
Hello all! Just updating quickly that I had my very first pole performance on Saturday July 18th! I'm so excited to share with you guys!

This was a fundraiser for Jose, one of AVA Fitness' students, to go to nationals in August of this year. The fundraiser was at Status Nightclub in New Westminster. When I first walked in the club, it was so small! Even the stage area.. it was really hard to dance on. I think I would've done a better job if the stage and ceiling was a little higher. You can see in the video my foot actually hits the bar on the ceiling, making me lose my balance and I fall! lol.

Honestly I never thought I'd be performing three years ago, but here I am now! I was so full of emotions, it was really overwhelming the amount of support I got over the weekend.

The process of coming up with a routine was a difficult one, as I didn't have any help with it. Although I wanted to do a private session with my instructor, I just didn't have the time or money to do it so I had to think up something for myself. Let me tell you, it's harder than it looks. I think I switched songs three times!

I eventually picked If I Had A Heart by Fever Ray. I wanted something slow enough that I could take my time with, along with something I could play in a club setting. I think it went well, but next time I'll pick a more upbeat song.

The whole experience was surreal. Being up on that stage gave me so much confidence. I cannot wait to get back into the studio and work even harder. After the summer is over I'm going to train for regionals, and hopefully I'll be going to nationals also!

If anyone is wondering, my pole outfit is a bathing suit lol! Bottoms are from Forever21, top is from Garage Clothing, and I just added flowers and glitter from Dollarama!

In the past couple of months I have been working on getting into shape and becoming healthier. One product I've found that has been very helpful is Tiny Tea. It has improved my energy levels so much that I can just drink my first cup in the morning and don't need 13 cups of coffee to make it through the rest of the day.
I have done the teatox 4 times now since February and am so impressed with my weight loss and overall health since starting using this Tea.

All you have to do is drink a cup of the tea 30-60 minutes before breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now I don't know about everyone else but I struggle to eat more than once a day most days and this has helped me develop an eating plan that allows me to eat 3 full meals a day and also helps me burn calories like nothing I've ever tried before!

I have lost a significant amount of weight since I started drinking this and incorporating yoga into my every day life, not to mention the change in my diet but I am definitely not complaining. Also cellulite? More like see ya later! My skin is so smooth now and I am soso SO thankful as I was always self conscious about that in the past.
If you are looking for something to help you start your weight loss journey or just looking for something to help you maintain any progress you've made in weight loss I would 10000% recommend this for you! I've never been happier in my own skin and it feels amazing <3 nbsp="" p="">

For those of us who don't have the luxury of having their own pole at home, or want some toned abdominals and arms, I created a pole-inspired work out to target those abs.

Keep in mind that these moves are fairly advanced as I got my boyfriend to try them out.

So here is what we did! Remember to put in cardio during or after your work out. After each set I like to either jog, do high knees, or mountain climbers for 60 seconds so it'll add up to 20-30 minutes of cardio. You can train your body to do amazing stuff, but without cardio you will never see those results and lose the weight.

Hanging Pike Leg Lifts - 3 Sets 10 Reps

  • Make sure your back is flat - no rounding
  • Keep your feet together and legs straight as best as you can
  • Lift up with your quads - not your back!
  • Try and keep your feet off the floor
  • Do NOT pull up while doing pike ups - leave your arms hanging
  • If a bar is not available, you can also do these on the floor

Hanging Straddle V Leg Lifts - 3 Sets 10 Reps

  • Same with Hanging Pike Ups, but your legs are in the shape of a "V"
  • If you can, try to keep your toes pointed. This makes it harder.
  • If a bar is not available, you can also do these on the floor

Pull Ups - 3 Sets 5 Reps

  • It's okay to jump into a pull up position
  • Only go as far as you can go down
  • Don't extend your arms all the way down if you can't pull back up
  • Little pulses are okay
  • Keep your body aligned - no curving of the back or bend knees

Push Ups - 3 Sets 10 Reps

  • Make sure that your arms are directly beneath your shoulders, hands shoulder width apart
  • When you lower down, tighten your core, quads, and hamstrings.
  • When you're in the down phase of the push up position, squeeze your shoulder blades together
  • Look in front of you
  • REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR BACK FLAT! Your body should always be straight in a push up or plank.

Hearts - 3 Sets 10 Reps

  • Laying down, hands under your head and feet together
  • Lift both legs up as far as you can go without lifting your hips off the ground
  • Open up into a straddle and come back down so your legs end up back together, drawing a heart
  • Make sure that your back is flat against the ground. If you have a problem with this, place your hands under your butt

60 Second Plank

Advanced vs Beginner

  • Same as a push up, but holding one position for 60 seconds
  • Try to squeeze every muscle in your body. This move is good for glutes and abdominals

Pause Goblet Squats - 3 Sets 10 Reps

  • Standing up with feet hip width apart, squat down until you can't go any lower. You're going to want to actually sit in the squat
  • Remember to keep your back as straight as possible. No rounding of the back
  • Pause for 3 seconds
  • When you come back up, put your weight in your heels. Squeeze your glutes as hard as you can coming back up
  • You have the option to do this with weights if you want a harder workout

And that's it! Have fun and feel the burn!
