Fall is finally here, my favorite season of the year!  Because I am so much of a lippy person it would be extremely appropriate to share with you all of my go-to lipsticks for the fall season. I'm going to start slow, with my more neutral shades.

Fall is not only a time for bold and dark colors, it's also a time for neutral and more toned down colors as well.  These colors are more work friendly when I decide to wear makeup at work I will use one of these for my lips.  Sable from Bite had came in a holiday gift box last year.  It's a great universal color for any season but I would catch myself wearing it a lot and then I found Taupe from Mac's permanent collection. I've been building up my neutral collection lately, and Taupe seems to be my go-to for almost everything.  It's not too dark nor is it grey.

Originally I was only going to go with just Sin.  Both times I went into my local Mac boutique I did swatches of both of them and wouldn't take the plunge on the two because they looked so similar.  I'm so happy that I did go with both though.  Yes, they're extremely similar however Diva has more red than Sin and that's what I love about it.  There's a subtle difference but that difference really makes or breaks a look I find.  These lips are the perfect bold lip for a casual night out or just going shopping.  They're not overpowering but bold enough to make a statement.

It is perfectly acceptable to go out in public with extremely dark colors.  For my super dark color I choose Cyber with Nightmoth as a lip liner.  For dark colors, a lip liner will help substantially with bleeding. If you decide to not go with any sort of lip liner I would recommend a lipgloss on top so in case it did bleed, you will have an excuse!  Cyber was my go-to color all last year and even into the winter season.  It's definitely a cult favorite for me.

Okay, it's Halloween and you're going out to a party! Don't forget Serpentina!  I love this shade so much because it is so unique and fun.  Lime Crime lipsticks glide on so smoothly, it's great.  Poisonberry is a really alien-like purple.  Both are essentials in order to be fully in the Halloween spirit.  Both are super sparkly and so nice to play with.

I took a swatch photo for all of the colors in order and how they compare to each.  Trying to go up from light to dark.  I love how it resembles fall colors and leaves fairly well.  These are my favorite go-to fall lip colors.  If you're looking for a nice bold fall color, or a more neutral not as out going shade, I recommend you take a look at these shades.

Over the course of August I collected a few items here and there but not enough for hauls each time (I'm trying to spend wisely).

Most of these items were bought during my vacation time.  I went to Prince Edward Island for a small part of my vacation and the rest was spent in sporadic areas around Nova Scotia.  Despite all of the traveling I didn't have much chance to get any type of souvenir, however I did manage to sneak into a few of my favorite stores on the way!

Starting with Lush and Mac.  I bought a Mac lipstick(of course) in the shade Taupe.  This is a neutral medium color brown matte finish and is perfect for the fall or at a workplace which is becoming my go-to shade.  At lush, I picked up another massage bar as I'm almost out of Pearl.  This time around I went with the Organic Therapy massage bar.  I decided to pick up a soap bar in Rock Star.  This is my first time trying a soap bar and I'm excited to use it in the shower!  I like to keep bar soaps for the shower and liquid or foam soap for hand washing.

I wasn't planning on picking anything up at La Senza but it just so happened that they were having a spin wheel that day and I got a free pair of panties with a purchase.  I chose to get two nice pairs instead of the ones they have for 3$ at times.  The light one is a pastel purple with cute prints and strings on the side.  The dark red has leopard print on the back. *socute*

I've been meaning to purchase a few new bras.  To start this off, I went with a sports bra because I enjoy being comfortable and my work is physically demanding to wear wires and fancy bras.  I bought this one as a test and will be back to buy more as these do the trick well! I also got a free wallet lanyard.  One thing about Victoria Secret is that they almost always have giveaways with every purchase.

I bought this necklace locally.  I don't really buy jewellery unless I am really drawn to it and so with this one I really liked the design.  I need to find another chain because it keeps falling off and I've actually almost lost it a few times already!

Next, I made a small purchase at Wal-Mart during the back to school days.  I bought a Biore charcoal facial cleansing pack and a few Garnier face masks.  I'm not going back to school however I felt the need to purchase pencils!  These aren't just any type of pencil but the 'plastic' kind.  I'm not sure how else to describe it but all I know is that they are extremely hard to come by and my favorite!  If I ever end up going back to school I will have pencils to go!

Now onto the essential part of this post. The only reason the toothbrush and paste are in here is because they're for sensitive teeth. I love soft bristles on my teeth or else I find that it's just too rough for me, this kind is just super massaging and feels right, effective and efficient!  The toothpaste is because sometimes I just have sensitive teeth.  I also purchased a teeth whitener!  Maybe you will see a review up on this at some point!

Here we go again with the hair stuff.   I just need to not go through the hair aisle anymore.  Actually, I went to get just hair conditioner because I tend to go through that triple time I do my shampoo.  I find myself going towards L'oreal for a lot of my hair essentials. I bought the L'oreal moisture infusion mask only because colder seasons are coming and I'm hoping this will keep moisture locked in and help with soon coming dandruff! The Live Clean Exotic Nectar Argan Oil because the packaging attracted me.  Yep, gotta kick that habit.

I wasn't actually going to put this in here but I seen that it's scented? I've never seen that before!

That's it guys!  There wasn't much but I wanted to start digging into my goodies before too long.  I'll start reviews on a few things here shortly as well!

Welcos Miracle Argan Oil Treatment you can pick up at www.roseroseshop.com.  I literally use this every single time I get out of the shower without fail.  It is a holy grail through and through.

Lush R&B hair moisturizer.  I had a sample of this and used it all up and had to pick up a full size because it is really just that great!  I only use a tiny bit after every single shower.  If overused it will make your hair appear greasy.

I rave a lot about hair products so there are a few repeats from around the blog but that's because I really do love them and what they do.

Tokyomilk body wash and cream in the scent Yesterday.  I added this in because of the smell it has even though the product itself works really well.  If you're looking for an exotic scent that not many people have, this is where you want to go. Uh oh! It looks like they are discontinuing the Tokyomilk Dark line. 

Lush Massage Bar in Pearl.  I absolutely am in love with this scent and will repurchase until I get sick of it.  I also love how it makes my skin feel really soft and moisturized after showers for long periods of time.

Cheek Room Lip Balm in Cherry.  I got this in a memebox a while back and really love how it makes my lips really shiny but not too sticky at the same time.  I also love how after a while it will tint your lips to a nice bright but not too overpowering pink, it's a great summer color!

Mac lippies in Cyber, Sin, and Diva.  These are all fairly dark colors as my go to lip color is generally dark because I love a pop.  Sooner or later I am going to be making a post on all of my Mac lippies including swatches.

Ah, movies.  My favorite movie of all time forever and ever is Lilo & Stitch!  I have a picture of just Stitch! because I couldn't find the original movie.  But basically, I have a shrine of everything Stitch.  Divergent is one of my favorite movies as well.  Can Four and Triss just become an IRL couple, PLEASE!! I want to live Divergent.

Bath and Body Works parfum in the scent Forever Red.  I love how this is very young lady, chic and fruity smell.  It's a really nice casual perfume as well as a going out perfume.  Very versatile.

This is probably my favorite cloth face mask to date.  It adds moisture to your skin which is perfect for winter seasons and anybody in Canada knows that we have pretty bad winters and we need to be prepared at all times! NextBeau Aqua Moisture pack.

I'm aware Miley Cyrus collabed with Mac a while ago and I'm a bit late on the train!  I just haven't found the time to make a short post on this yet! 

I absolutely love Miley Cyrus, she's one of my favorite people on earth!  Not to mention our birthday's are on the same day?? yeah, bet you can't beat that!   It comes to no surprise I had to have these just because of that.

 The two of them are just called Viva Glam Miley Cyrus.  The lipstick is also Amplified.

My camera doesn't come out the exact same color as it is in real life, but close.  The first swatch is just the lipstick, then we have the gloss and on top is the gloss over the lipstick.  This is a really bright almost neon colored pink, perfect for spring and summer especially if you are looking to have a pop!  This would also look great on sunkissed skin.  The lipstick is very creamy and goes on smooth.
I would just use the lipglass alone because it's so nice.  There's not much of a smell to it but it has some blue sparkles mixed in with all of the pink to create dimension which I really like.
All in all I give this collection and collab a 10000thumbs up!  Mac 100% did not go wrong with Miley Cyrus, that's for sure.  Always and forever my bias <3

After a hectic work week just before Christmas all I want to do is sit and relax. Grab a couple of your favourite magazines, in my case Cosmopolitan, and look at a few pictures, read a few articles.  My favourites are what's new in fashion, makeup and we all talk and read about it, the sex articles. 

The candle I'm burning is from Bath and Body Works called Champagne Toast.   It has an extremely mild sweet scent, it doesn't scent up the entire room, just kind of well, there.
For my face mask I decided to try a peel off mask by -417 Dead Sea Cosmetics.  This masks purpose is to cleanse your skin of your dead cells and makeup.  I noticed on the box it says to leave it on for 20 minutes but in French it says to leave on for 15 minutes.  My suggestion is to just leave it on until you feel comfortable and it can be easily peeled off.

So the product is in liquid form and that is exactly how you apply it.  Be cautious on how thick it gets applied as well as the thicker it is the longer it will take to be able to peel off.  After it's been on for a few minutes your skin will start to feel cold, that's how you know it's working!  I personally find this feeling very soothing and relaxing. While applying be sure to not get it in your eyebrows or eyelid! I have no set time for how long I keep the mask on, just peel it off when it has dried.   It feels like you're peeling off a layer of dead skin off, some may find it weird some may like that feeling, just a matter of opinion.  As far as the results for this mask, my face feels like a baby's bum it is that smooth!  I really like this mask plus it is something different from what I usually do and change is a good thing.

Tonights lipstick features Rebel from the Macs Holiday collection.  If you miss this colour you can still get your hands on it from the regular collection as well.
When I had bought this colour it reminded me of Macs Cyber but a little bit lighter so I had compared it to that.  On first impressions of this color I notice it is a lot more violet than anything and a bit lighter than expected.  However, still a great color for any collection I think I just expected it to be darker!  This is a color I would wear in the summertime.  It goes on smooth and evenly which is one of the first things I look for in a lipstick.  So first thoughts, I do like this lipstick just wish it was a bit darker!

Okay all of this shopping has got to stop!  riiight after this haul! I don't have very many clothes other than work clothing so this time I tried to steer away from getting so much makeup, which didn't really work out but I did manage to get one pair of pants and a few shoes ok that's good enough, right?  Anyhow let's get started! 

The bag I had bought from Target was a terrible mistake.. I had to get a new one STAT!  This lovely springtime bright yellow bag is from Spring.  I got it on sale as well as 10% off.  For years now I've been curious and always looking at bright colors that sure make a statement and pop and decided to take the plunge and I gotta say I do not regret this one bit!  I love it to pieces and was totally worth getting!

I got these from Victoria's Secret.  They had a promotion where if you bought 65$ before taxes you were eligible to get a free PINK beach blanket, I bought a pair of yoga pants as well as the lotion which by the way is completely irresistible coconut scent which came to the price limit before taxes.  Lucky me, I had no idea this deal was going on!  Can you believe that blanket alone retails for $49.95! That's basically a steal right there.

So there was a buy 2 get one free at Stitches and I was overdue for some casual footwear anyway.  I could only pick out 2 that I really wanted so just grabbed another pair just to get the free one.  The solid color pair is actually more of a lighter sandy/nude which is really nice.  The quality isn't really the best for these but they do the job which is what I want. 

Also picked up some headbands for spring because I'm so ready for it.

Okay, enough of the accessories, now onto the makeup and stuff!

From Mac I got the lipglass Sin from the Toledo collection, only because I have the matching lipstick!   I love Mac collections but I'm not a die hard fan of them, I definitely need to like the color before buying them mercilessly.  I also got another lipstick in the color Chatterbox.  Speaking of lipsticks, it's probably time to do a post on all my mac lippies.  I've never tried the shadows and this beauty was at the counter for $12.  I decided to try this one for my first color and see how it works out!

 I've been meaning to buy a high end foundation to see what the difference is with them between your regular drugstore/asian foundation.  The price of them had made me hold off on them for so long but since I love the Kat Von D shadow palette, I decided to get the lock-it tattoo foundation and I've heard a lot of good things about it.  Excited to see how this works out!

 Lastly, we have Lush.  I went kind of stir-crazy I just couldn't resist!  This rose massage bar smells friggin amazing I literally could NOT pass it up! 

I was also suckered into buying this gem as well to use with the massage bar.

Since I enjoyed the last 2 face masks, I also decided to go ahead and get 2 more!

oops.. went a little wild on the bath luxury items.  Got a lot of fun ahead for me!

I've spent the most here out of every time I've gone in there and only got three samples which is way less than what I would normally get but I still need to get through the first batch so I am perfectly fine with this.

That's it, that's my shopping haul, it took longer than what I had wanted to get this post up because my laptop is sometimes reliable lol.  I'll keep plucking away at reviews in hopes that one day I'll be all caught up and posted!
