Lush bath bombs and bubble bar reviews
This is about the first time I've actually given Lush an honest try. Chances are this may very well be my new favorite place to shop and I will have a lot more posts on Lush, not that that's a bad thing ;).
And again I've decided to do these all in one post instead of 4 individual ones just because it can get cluttered.
The Blackberry bath bomb was the first bath bomb I've tried in full. I really liked the way it smelled of berries and it carried throughout my bath as well. This didn't take very long to fizz out, maybe 2 minutes maximum? But it left my bath in a medium-toned purple color which was really nice. I always shower after any bath just to rinse off or else I still feel dirty and completely defeats the purpose of having a bath. Even before my shower I didn't notice any sort of residue that would have been left after my bath and what little might have been there was completely erased after my shower! I need to add that it didn't transfer over onto my skin either like some products may leave a stain after usage.
In the middle there was a little piece of paper, pretty neat and unexpected!
Also my first time trying to take a video for purposes like this. I had no idea how to approach this nor did I really take any serious thought into it-apparently I should have. I decided to post it anyway just to broadcast this even further. Everything is a learning curve for everybody, hopefully my next videos will be a bit better and improve over time, haha.
The Creamy Candy Bubble Bar IS the first bubble bar I have ever tried out. It has a very similar smell to Rose Jam Bubbleroon but is stronger. This one smells more like the bubblegum lip scrub! With such an extreme candy smell I was shocked that it was so subtle in the bath. It made the water really soothing and my skin super soft, it was great shaving water. It didn't really color my water, just made it a milky pastel pink so there was 0 residue. However, it did leave my tub really slippery! Luckily I didn't fall or have an accident. I'm now curious to see whether all bubble bars cause your tub to become super slippery.
So I'm pretty sure the ultimate goal of a bubble bar is to have a bubble bath, this didn't produce a whole abundance of bubbles but what it did produce stayed for a good 20 minutes.
This bar produced bubbles immediately and after about 30 seconds wasn't hard to crumble at all. Woohoo second video, Still got a long way to do but I think I'm getting a little better!
Next we have Pink Bath Bomb. I'm getting sort of like sweets and candy but also has a floral scent to it?? It's a super cute and tiny bath bomb but has a lot of power to it. I really liked the scent actually, even after it fizzed away the smell kind of lingered but wasn't too overpowering either. When it was fizzing basically all I got was floral scent-not my go to but it was a nice refreshing smell.
Not to mention there were the cutest tiny little hearts in the bomb itself???? G O R G E O U S. I'm a sucker for romance so here we go, this added a great touch to my bath and was unexpected as well! This made my bath a very vibrant pink color, I think so far I like this color the most.
Loving the way that this bubble bar smells, however the Rose JamJam Bubbleroon just did not deliver as much as I had expected it to unfortunately. Outside of the tub it smells like hubba bubba bubblegum yumyum! Once it's in the tub the smell pretty much goes away and its very very faint. It produced very little bubbles so that sucks. The water went a light color pink and it felt very moisturizing to my skin. Apart from that, not a whole lot to say about this bubble bar it certainly wasn't my favorite going which is so unfortunate because the smell is absolutely fantastic.
Overall I liked the pink bath bomb the best. I wasn't tickled pink but these do make for a pretty relaxing bath and the majority seem to have make my skin soft and moisturized. I do think Lush is overpriced and can't figure out how they are worth the money for these products anyway but I will continue to try out another batch of bath bombs and bubble bars sooner or later.
