Lush Face Masks numero uno!
I didn't want to go overboard with these because it's my first time trying the Lush mud masks and they have a quick to expire date. Now with these types of masks I like to use them when I'm having a bath and rinse off via shower because it can turn messy real quick.
So the first one I picked to use was the Cupcake mud mask. Does it ever smell amazing! It's got a nice not too overpowering minty chocolate scent I could just about eat it.
Thank you Lori!
This mask is designed to clear skin and reduce red spots and blemishes as well as help oily skin. I had put this mask on pretty thick with still a little bit left in the pot. It went on with no hassle and hardened where the thinner spots were at. I left it on for a good hour while soaking in the tub and still the minty chocolate smell was there. This had made my skin softer, smoother and moisturized. As far as redness goes I could see a subtle difference but not a whole whole lot. This was a decent mask for my first one and I'm excited to try the next one out!
The second face mask I bought was BB seaweed. I was drawn to buy this because I actually enjoy ocean smells because it's so fresh.
Thank you Sheldon!
This mask has a very mousse like fluffy texture to it, I like that! I applied it on not as thick of a coat and still have half of my jar left! Leaving it on for the duration of my bath at upwards to an hour. This left my skin feeling very soft, hydrated and moisturized. It's brought a nice glow but not too overpowering that my red cheeks are like Rudolph's nose. This mask hardened on my face over time and the smell went away however if I yawned or anything, immediately the scent would come back, yum! The lady at Lush said that it was great for sensitive skin as well. I will definitely repurchase this.
